Below are certain things that benefit the overall pre-press and make the whole process run more smoothly for all of us.

A few other items to keep in mind:
1. When submitting your files, make sure you include all the screen fonts and printer fonts on your CD or disk.
2. Making sure that your program outputs correct separations can make or break the overall job. Some programs have trouble with color separation and can save you costly dollars in reproducing the job in a correct program.
3. Remember to make room for bleed art for your files if you have a certain color or an image that bleeds off the edge of the paper.
4. Lastly, include a laser or color mock-up on each job, so that we can maintain the designed integrity of the printed piece. Certain folding, scoring and die-cutting problems can be detected prior to actually putting it on the press. |
